Oh my goodness, what a scarey week. First off, we were all excited to see snow. The first snow storm of the season finally hit. Kaden was so excited he immediately went out to shovel the deck. The next day was soo cold too. Then it started to rain, which landed on the cold cold snow and immedialtely froze. The rain storm was followed by a cold front and the ice began to accumulate everywhere. Not just the roads, but the trees and flowers too. As this process continued, our poor trees and plant started to droop under the weight of the ice, to the point of trees breaking and plants bending to the earth. This is when it became scarey. Large branches started to break off of the pole pines that surrounded our home. Several times during the nights to come we were bolted awake by the sounds of large limbs crashing onto the roof. It really became unsafe to even walk through our backyard. Yikes. Anyway, I took some cool ice pictures.
