Man, we are struggling with birds with OCD. These Starlings, are smart and crafty little boogers. They take sticks and pry the loovers on the vents open and then go into the pipes between the floors and build their nests. Two months ago, we heard scratching and scraping in the ceiling in our kitchen and downstairs bathroom. Pretty soon, we heard chirping. A lot of chirping. And the SMELL! ewe. We had to lock the bathroom door and put a towel along the floor to keep the smell out of the rest of the house. The management company FINALLY sent someone out to clean out the vents. Unbelieveably, within an hour, those little boogers were back. I did some banging and poking, and then taped grey tape over the holes(for the 5th time). This morning, the tape off again! And it was even that very aggressive grey tape. What ever happened to building nests in trees?
