On our way back to Camas, we stopped at the Salt Water state park along the Pacific Coast. We conveniently timed it so that we would arrive at low tide and went looking for critters. Not being from the coast, we were a little timid to touch anything wet or slimy. We found little sand crabs, shells, anemeny ?, bigger crabs that were dead, plants and someplace below the surface we were hit by spitting clams... gueyduck clams. Ewe!
